Stocks fall as sticky inflation dampens rate cut hopes, Adobe sinks on earnings: Yahoo Finance Live
All three of the major indexes (^DJI,^GSPC, ^IXIC) closed lower on Friday. Two hot inflation prints this week have investors questioning if the Federal Reserve will make as many rate cuts as they had been hoping for. We’ll learn more when the central bank releases its economic projections along with its latest decision on interest rates next week. Adobe (ADBE) shares are falling sharply after releasing better-than-expected first quarter earnings, but disappointing second quarter guidance.
