Sorry, Justin Bieber. Americans really don’t want you as their neighbor.
For the second year in a row, Americans have voted for the Canadian pop star as the “worst neighbor” on Zillow’s annual celebrity neighbor survey. A whopping 1 in 3 survey respondents (36 percent) say Bieber would be their least desirable celebrity neighbor. Jeremy Wacksman, Zillow’s chief marketing officer, says in a press release:
“Justin Bieber continues to stir up trouble everywhere he goes, and would likely be an unpredictable neighbor.”
According to the 10th annual survey, these are the celebrities Americans really don’t want living next door:
-
Justin Bieber : 36 percent
-
Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna : 23 percent
-
Tom Cruise : 7 percent
-
Taylor Swift : 4 percent
-
Tom Brady : 3 percent
Meanwhile, America’s top choice for a celebrity neighbor is President Barack Obama’s family. Wacksman says:
“Maybe it’s the additional neighborhood security, or the possibility of running into other influential and famous people, but it’s clear people are intrigued by the idea of living next to the former first family.”
The first family is rumored to be moving from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. to an 8,200-square-foot home in Washington, D.C., when Obama’s second term ends Jan. 20, WCNC reports.
These are the famous people Americans would most love to share a fence with in 2017:
-
The Obama family : 14 percent
-
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson : 13 percent
-
Chip and Joanna Gaines : 8 percent
-
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi : 7 percent
-
Adele : 6 percent
