Domino’s (DPZ) is rewarding frontline employees this holiday season.

The company announced this week that over 11,500 company-owned store and supply chain team members, including delivery drivers, will receive a special one-time bonus this month.

Eligible team members will earn up to $1,200 in bonus compensation, with total investments expected to reach over $9.6 million, according to the pizza chain.

“We strive every day to uphold our values of doing the right thing and putting people first,” Domino's CEO Ritch Allison said in a news release.

“We have the honor and privilege of being open and operating throughout the U.S. during this crisis, and we recognize that we could not be doing it without the hard work and dedication of our team members. This is our way of saying thank you to these remarkable people,” he added.

Domino’s is the latest company to recognize hourly workers as the pandemic squeezes consumers and the labor market. Last week, Starbucks (SBUX) said it’s on pace to pay all of its workers at least $15 an hour within two to three years, which would make the coffee giant the largest restaurant business to do so.

Meanwhile, Amazon (AMZN) said all full-time, 2020 employees would quality for a “special recognition” bonus of $300, while Walmart (WMT) announced over $700 million in additional cash bonuses for all U.S.-based associate team members.

Domino's, which is looking to hire an additional 30,000 people across the U.S. to meet demand and provide jobs, paid a special bonus to frontline workers at its corporate stores and supply chain centers earlier this year.

The chain also provided paid time off to its part-time, frontline team members impacted by COVID-19.
