The new e-commerce fulfilment and distribution facility offers 23,000sqm of warehousing area with space for over 45,000 pallet positions and is set to be fully operational in the second quarter of 2025.

It is situated in EZDubai, a dedicated e-commerce zone in Dubai South. The location “will function as a hub for trade across the region, giving customers easy access to a variety of logistics solutions, while also serving as a hub for trade throughout the region”, the company has said. It also offers an exemption from customs clearance procedures.

The new facility brings our customers ease of doing business in Dubai and across the region.”

Mohsen Ahmad, CEO of the Logistics District in Dubai South, added: “We are pleased to witness the groundbreaking of Kuehne + Nagel’s new facility, which will be of great added value to the logistics sector. We are committed to reinforcing the company’s expansion and growth, via our advanced services and solutions, and to contribute to Dubai’s position as a global logistics hub.”

In May, the company opened a new facility in the US state of Texas to support the growing demand for logistics services at the U.S./Mexico border. In March, it opened a new fulfilment centre in New Jersey, also in the US, aimed at serving the fashion and luxury markets.
