Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Software&Computer Services, Beverage and Mining sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares added 0.22%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Cartier Saada (CSE:CRS), which rose 9.97% or 3.34 points to trade at 36.84 at the close. Meanwhile, IB Maroc Com SA (CSE:IBC) added 9.97% or 3.19 points to end at 35.19 and S2M (CSE:S2M) was up 9.31% or 22.15 points to 260.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Med Paper (CSE:MDP), which fell 6.17% or 1.45 points to trade at 22.06 at the close. Stokvis Nord Afrique (CSE:SNA) declined 5.66% or 0.96 points to end at 15.99 and Salafin (CSE:SLF) was down 3.13% or 17.80 points to 550.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 33 to 23 and 7 ended unchanged.
Shares in Cartier Saada (CSE:CRS) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 9.97% or 3.34 to 36.84. Shares in S2M (CSE:S2M) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 9.31% or 22.15 to 260.00.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.12% or 0.09 to $75.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.31% or 0.24 to hit $78.42 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.47% or 12.10 to trade at $2,540.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.17% to 10.75, while USD/MAD rose 0.18% to 9.66.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.44% at 100.89.
