Nestlé Professional, the business-to-business and out-of-home division of Nestlé, is set to expand its range of coffee machines, the Nescafé Fusion system, to enable food service providers to deliver personalised coffee experiences.
The new range caters to the growing demand for personalised beverage options, offering hot or cold drinks, with choices ranging from whole roasted beans to instant coffee and including dairy or plant-based milks.
Food service providers in hotels, offices, convenience stores, education and healthcare institutions recognise the importance of coffee in their offerings and the need for equipment that can deliver both hot and cold options conveniently.
The Nescafé Fusion system addresses this challenge by providing a selection of filter coffees, espresso-based beverages and iced drinks such as lattes, cappuccinos and mochas.
It offers 14 different machine models to food service providers to suit a range of business sizes and consumer preferences, considering factors such as cup capacity and counter space.
Already launched in 15 markets across Asia, Europe and Latin America, it is now extending to a further 60.
Developed by Nestlé’s research and development teams in Orbe, Switzerland, the machines combine system expertise with coffee knowledge.
Nestlé Professional global head Reinhold Jakobi said: "As the demand for cold beverages increases, particularly among younger generations, our food service providers need to adapt and cater to this trend by offering a versatile menu of both hot and iced beverages.
"Nescafé Fusion delivers customisable coffee experiences while reflecting our commitment to sustainability".
Nescafé Fusion machines incorporate up to 30% recycled plastic and can achieve up to 60% of energy savings compared to previous models.
The telemetry technology is integrated into the machines for troubleshooting and maintenance.
Technical experts from Nestlé Professional receive real-time issue reports, minimising travel requirements for system checks.
"Nescafé Professional expands coffee machines range for food service " was originally created and published by Verdict Food Service, a GlobalData owned brand.
