Japanese casualwear brand Uniqlo announced the appointment of Clare Waight Keller as creative director. She took on the role of designer for the Uniqlo: C womenswear project last September, and while continuing in this capacity, she will also lead the Uniqlo mainline collection. Waight Keller is a renowned British designer known for bringing an original sense to modern elegance and taking high fashion houses worldwide to acclaim under her leadership. She was named one of the most influential people in the world by Time 100 in 2019.
Global design house Tom Ford announced the appointment of Haider Ackermann as creative director. In his new role, Ackermann will assume the creative leadership across all Tom Ford fashion categories, including menswear, womenswear, accessories and eyewear as well as guide the creative vision for the overall brand. Ackermann’s first collection will debut at Paris Fashion Week in March 2025. He will be based in Paris, reporting to Guillaume Jesel, Tom Ford’s president and CEO and luxury business development at the Estée Lauder Companies. He will also report to Lelio Gavazza, CEO of Tom Ford Fashion at the Ermenegildo Zegna Group.
European fashion house Mango has promoted Marlies Hersbach, the current international retail director for Mango in France, as the new e-commerce executive director. With deep expertise in the sector, Hersbach will be responsible for developing, leading and executing the company’s online business strategy. She will report directly to Elena Carasso, online and customer director and member of the steering committee. Yann Bayon, the current regional retail manager of the Paris region, will now serve as the international retail director for France.
Online personal styling service Stitch Fix has appointed Timothy Baxter and Fiona Tan to its board of directors, effective Oct. 14. Baxter has more than 30 years of retail leadership experience. In his most recent role, he served as chief executive officer of fashion apparel retailer, Express. Prior to joining Express, he spent time at Delta Galil and Macy’s. Tan has more than 25 years of experience leading technology and innovation teams at retail and software companies. She currently serves as chief technology officer of Wayfair, where she oversees the global technology team. She previously served as senior vice president of technology at Walmart.
Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein’s parent company, PVH Corp., announced the appointment of Fredrik Olsson as chief executive officer of PVH EMEA. Olsson will join the company in the fourth quarter and report to Stefan Larsson, CEO of PVH Corp. He joins from Max Fashion, where he served as CEO of the Dubai-based retailer. Prior to that, Olsson spent 20-plus years at the H&M Group in various leadership roles, including managing director globally for the H&M brand as well as head of global growth for the group.
Omnichannel retailer and national women’s apparel brand J.Jill has appointed Courtnee Chun to its board of directors. Chun will serve on the compensation and audit committees. Chun is a distinguished executive with over 20 years of experience across industries, including media, sports, entertainment, technology and telecommunications. She spent 16 years at Liberty Media in positions of increasing responsibility, including senior vice president of investor relations, chief portfolio officer and senior advisor.
French biotechnology firm Carbios has announced the appointment of Tommy Maussin as its chief marketing officer. In this role, Maussin will develop and oversee Carbios’ global marketing and sales activities with brands across various industries. He will enhance Carbios’ global presence to initiate and conclude commercial agreements with brand owners. Maussin joins the executive committee and will report to CEO Emmanuel Ladent.

Autonomous AI software solution for warehouse and supply chain visibility firm Gather AI has named Larisa Summers as its new head of marketing. In this role, Summers will contribute her 10-plus years of supply chain and 20-plus years of marketing experience to highlight customer impact stories, accelerate the brand as it deepens market penetration and introduce new automation and inventory visibility analytic solutions to the supply chain market. Before Gather AI, Summers served as CMO for global lifestyle hospitality company Convene and SaaS company Optoro.

Global post-purchase customer experience platform ParcelLab has named Nick Bareham as senior vice president of global sales. In this new role, Bareham will lead the sales strategy and execution, emphasizing customer-centric enablement and understanding buying behaviors. He brings over 20 years of experience leading commercial innovation across globally recognized retail and tech businesses. Bareham was previously at Virgin Red, Mirakl and Scandit, where he served as director and then vice president of sales, leading sales strategy, process optimization and talent development.

Angelina Yagudayev has been promoted to chief merchandising officer after serving as executive vice president of Mad Engine’s Canada division. In her new role as CMO, she will manage and oversee Mad Engine’s entire sales division for North America and all additional markets. Gina Cappi has been promoted to chief creative officer, formerly serving as senior vice president of the kids’ division. Christine Bettles has been named chief financial officer.
