Puma
Global sportswear company Puma has appointed former Guess executive Markus Neubrand as its chief financial officer and a member of the brand’s management board, effective Oct. 1. Current CFO Hubert Hinterseher and Puma mutually agreed he will step down on Sept. 30 and exit the company on Dec. 31 after a 20-year stint. In this role, Neubrand will oversee finance, investor relations, legal, IT and business solutions. Before serving as CFO of Guess, Neubrand was the group CFO for MCM Worldwide. Prior to that, he was chief operating officer and CFO at Hugo Boss.
Alberta Ferretti
The board of directors of Italian luxury group Aeffe announced Alberta Ferretti has resigned as creative director of the namesake brand she founded in 1980, saying her departure is a “conscious choice” to pave the way forward for the brand. Ferretti will retain her role as vice president of Aeffe, which will announce the name of Ferretti’s successor in the coming months.

Conglomerate Qurate Retail Group has named Rosalia Bucaro as HSN’s chief merchandising officer. In this role, she will oversee the strategic direction of merchandising, planning, programming and business development across all product categories, as well as revitalize product assortment and build partnerships. Bucaro has over two decades of relevant experience, having held various senior positions in merchandising at Bloomingdale’s before serving as Rue Gilt Groupe’s executive vice president. She will report to Stacy Bowe, president of HSN.

Retail company with landed stores operating in the travel retail industry Duty Free Holdings announced the appointment of James Mullaney as president. In this role, Mullaney will lead the company’s strategic growth initiatives, focusing on expanding in international markets. He will oversee the development of new retail and wholesale channels, enhance operational efficiencies and drive strategic partnerships. Mullaney has three decades of relevant experience, having previously served as CEO of Furla USA, managing director for Bruno Magli and various leadership positions at Liz Claiborne.

Orchestration platform for retail and commerce media Vantage announced the appointment of Drew Cashmore to its leadership team to serve as head of strategy. Cashmore, a recognized retail strategist, was one of the original architects of Walmart Connect in North America and a founding member of Walmart eCommerce. He also previously served as the chief marketing officer of Firework, a SoftBank-backed live shopping platform.
