Snapchat & Twitter compete for NFL content

Snapchat is going to war with Twitter—and it’s over the rights to NFL games. This week, Twitter will stream the first of 10 Thursday night NFL games, which it’s making available on Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and the Xbox One. But Snapchat just launched its own NFL Discover channel featuring custom geofilters for all 32 NFL clubs.

Drone racing moves to TV as ESPN, SKY launch broadcasts

Ok gentlemen, start your (drone) engines! Drone racing is coming to a TV set near you: On Thursday, ESPN2 will start broadcasting races of the Drone Racing League, with contestants racing drones through empty malls, stadiums and subway tunnels. The races will also be shown by European stations Sky Sports Mix and 7Sports, whose owners are investing in the league.
