Latin American retailer Walmart de Mexico y Centroamerica (Walmex) is rolling out Quorso’s Co-Pilot technology across its 2,850 stores in Mexico.
The technology will support Walmex’s “tech-powered, people-led” strategy by streamlining and digitalising tasks at its Bodega Aurrera and Walmart Supercenter stores, enhancing operational efficiency.
Quorso CEO Julian Mills said: “Walmart de Mexico y Centroamerica has a reputation as one of the best operators globally. We are delighted to partner with them and help them to implement our new technology across their store network.”
Quorso's AI Co-Pilot transforms retail data and tasks into customised high-priority actions for each field leader.
It streamlines store management by assigning store leaders personalised “Missions” for targeted improvements, reducing the need for extensive data analysis.
The technology’s flexible design integrates smoothly with retailers' existing tech infrastructures, allowing setup in under two weeks.
Quorso powers strategic KPIs, boosts productivity, and streamlines operations across over 50,000 retail stores, enabling diverse applications.
Walmex is the Mexican and Central American Walmart division. The retailer employs over 18,500 associates across more than 3,000 stores and clubs in Mexico.
Walmex portfolio manager Leonardo Golfin said: “Walmart de Mexico y Centroamerica uses technology to simplify our associates’ work and to improve the customer experience. Quorso is a valuable partner in our desire for continuous improvement.”
Last month, Walmex laid the first stone for its 34th distribution centre in Silao, Guanajuato.
With an investment exceeding $500m, the facility is expected to create over 1,000 permanent jobs and will serve more than 600 stores and clubs across several states, including Aguascalientes, Jalisco, and Tamaulipas.
"Walmex to implement Quorso’s Co-Pilot across its 2,850 stores" was originally created and published by Retail Insight Network, a GlobalData owned brand.
