Disney World single-day ticket price increase to go into effect on December 8
Disney World is raising the price of its single-day tickets with prices ranging from $109 to $189 depending on the park.

RACHELLE AKUFFO: Disney is raising the cost of tickets for most of its Florida theme parks. The increase goes into effect December 8 with the cost for a single day, single park tickets being dependent on the park. Now, depending on where you decide to visit, here's what you can expect to pay. Disney's Animal Kingdom, that's going to cost you between $109 and $159, which is unchanged.
But the cost for Disney's Hollywood Studios is $124 to $179. Epcot will cost you between $114 and $179. And then the Magic Kingdom will set you back between $124 and $189. Now that $189 price, that's specifically for the parks' busiest time, which is usually around the week of Christmas to New Year's, so plan accordingly. As we take a look at what's happening with Disney shares, we're seeing that they're under pressure today to the tune of about 1 and 1/2%.
