Fed hints a rate cut could be coming, investors eye Meta earnings: Yahoo Finance
The Federal Reserve left interest rates unchanged at its July meeting while opening the door to a rate cut, saying in the statement there "has been some further progress" made in bringing inflation down to its 2% target. On the earnings front, “Magnificent Seven” member Meta Platforms (META) releases its quarterly results this afternoon.
Wall Street will also digest results from Qualcomm (QCOM), Arm Holdings (ARM), Carvana (CVNA), and Etsy (ETSY). Other trending tickers on Yahoo Finance include Microsoft (MSFT), Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), and Boeing (BA).
