Disney (DIS) says it will name its successor to Bob Iger by early 2026, with Iger's contract set to end on December 31, 2026. The Wall Street Journal reported that Disney is considering Electronic Arts (EA) CEO Andrew Wilson, among other names.
Yahoo Finance's Brad Smith and Seana Smith speak with Michael Pachter, Wedbush Securities managing director of equity research, about Wilson as a potential successor for Bob Iger.
"I think that the Disney board is looking for somebody 20 years younger than Iger, and they've got that in Wilson. They're looking for an accomplished CEO. They've got that in Wilson," Pachter told Yahoo Finance.
