Lyft (LYFT) reported third quarter revenue of $1.52 billion, which topped the Bloomberg consensus estimate of $1.44 billion. Gross bookings were $4.11 billion compared to a $4.08 billion estimate.
What sent the stock soaring in after-hours trading was the outlook. Lyft sees Q4 gross bookings of $4.28 billion to $4.35 billion, which tops Wall Street's expectation of $4.23 billion. The company's EBITDA guidance also surpassed estimates, $100 million to $105 million versus the expected $85 million.
