Startup Zeck addresses a core board 'pain point': Edward Norton
Zeck, a new software company startup, seeks to revolutionize board governance and meetings with a board website and other tools that surface the most important information for discussion. Zeck Co-Founder Edward Norton joins Market Domination to shed light on the company's intent and operations.
Norton explains that Zeck's primary purpose is to enhance board governance, helping organizations "advance their interests." Drawing from his own experiences, Norton notes that board meetings and the preparation leading up to them often fail to contribute meaningfully to the proceedings — a reality he deems "absurd in 2024." He further emphasizes that this inefficiency "promotes negative relationships between management and board."
"My partners and I really felt like this is a ubiquitous pain point. This is a big elephant in the room that everybody knows is a big problem, and nobody is dealing with," Norton told Yahoo Finance. "We tried to envision.. what this would look like if it worked."
