T-Mobile, Whirlpool, Mattel: After-hours movers
T-Mobile (TMUS) delivered strong third quarter results, beating analyst expectations for both revenue and profit. The telecommunications giant also provided an upbeat forecast, driving shares higher in after-hours trading on Wednesday.
Whirlpool (WHR) posted mixed third quarter results, falling short of revenue and sales projections. The appliance manufacturer cited weak consumer discretionary spending as a primary factor in the disappointing results.
Meanwhile, Mattel (MAT) stock gained momentum after the toymaker raised its annual adjusted gross margin target to 50%, following its better-than-expected third quarter earnings.
