Additionally, Snowflake (SNOW) posted better-than-expected second quarter results, surpassing revenue estimates. The company lifted its full-year revenue outlook to $3.36 billion as a result.

Synopsys (SNPS) also exceeded estimates on both the top and bottom lines in its latest quarter, providing a boost to its full-year earnings outlook. Synopsys CEO Sassine Ghazi will join Yahoo Finance tomorrow afternoon, Thursday, August 22, to discuss the company's fiscal third quarter results.
