Consigli Building Group has finalised the acquisition of portions of Lendlease's construction operations in New York City (NYC) and New Jersey (NJ), US.
The acquisition includes a portfolio of projects valued at more than $1.8bn, which encompasses both under-contract and preconstruction phases.
This move will see more than 400 employees joining Consigli from Lendlease.
Consigli’s portfolio of projects includes Harvard University, Tozzer Anthropology Consolidation Project; First Bristol Corporation, Hilton Garden Inn, and more.
Lendlease Americas CEO Claire Johnston said: “Consigli’s commitment to excellence and aligned values mean our people have found a great home at Consigli, and their expanding construction portfolio continues with exciting future opportunities.”
Lendlease, an Australia-headquartered integrated real estate group, includes projects such as the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, the Central Park Tower, Columbia University, and more.
The acquisition enhances the value and services of the company while continuing to support clients in sectors such as healthcare and pharmaceuticals, and New York developers.

In May this year, Lendlease finalised the terms with Consigli Construction for the sale of its construction operations on the US East Coast.
