On a per-share basis, the Akron, Ohio-based company said it had net income of 28 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 39 cents per share.

The maker of plastic products posted revenue of $220.2 million in the period.

Myers expects full-year earnings in the range of $1.05 to $1.20 per share.
