Advanced performance textiles producer eVent Fabrics has named textile engineer Cathy Shao as its innovation director. In this newly created role, Shao will develop new next-generation fabric technologies while expanding and improving existing offerings. She has specialized in the research and development of textile fibers and yarns based on different polymers, including bio-based polymers and PA56.
